For those in the Beige Area — and those outside of it are permitted to watch also — please enjoy a video I made earlier this week for an event that is happening on Sunday at the wonderful community space that is The New Farm, run by a seemingly ordinary yet remarkable man: my accountant, Andy.
Come through! I will be attending as a vendor of Bijoulerie.
I love recycling! — who doesn’t love recycling?! — after all, it’s good for the planet 'cos it stops global warming, oops I mean, the hole in the ozone layer, oops, I mean the ice caps melting, oops, I mean climate change. Yeah, that’s it, climate change. That angry, crying girl, she really got me right there. How dare we, indeed! 🙄
[Check out Unsettled, why don’t you.]
Anyway, as I was saying:
Giving stuff a makeover leads to instant pleasure
My old trash is your new treasure
That’s a trance code from The Mind of the Species, a book that is one of the reasons that enticed me to San Francisco.
But I digress… I mostly want to let you know that the last Casbah was really fun and it felt good to reconnect with some friends I’d not been around for a few years because of the you-know-what, nudge-nudge-wink-wink, say-no-more, etcetera…
Analogue Saturday too!
I’m also doing Analogue Saturday tomorrow and will be selling Bijoulerie and other items there. Come for the free Vitamin D (aka sunshine) multiplied by human connection and holiday gift-shopping. I have some super cute treasures for sale. (Contact me if you don’t know the address…)
In Other “News”
I’ve been advancing on special projects, working on some pieces (and actually, I have also been working on another Stacker’s pieces) and look forward to sharing soon.
In Scientism We Trust
Speaking of another Stacker’s piece, you must read this, it’s raises several good points, and especially about the glaringly obvious, namely conflict of interests. It needs to be shared with every twat (pronounced so that it rhymes with that) who demands that we Trust The Science!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Have fun and I hope you sell a lot! ❤️
Sounds like a great event on Sunday, and thanks for the delightful video from last week. My phone now says no rain until Monday! But alas, I can't join you at the Farm on Sunday as I'll be hiking with friends up to Dinosaur Ridge in the remote wilderness north of Castro Valley. Honest, there is a row of huge stones (embedded with seashell fossils) up on top of a high hill that looks like the back of a stegosaurus! ;-)
