I’m working on finishing up some pieces but this one by Elliot Freed just came through to my inbox and I feel compelled to share. Here are bits of it:
The people are being poisoned and killed. The herds are being decimated, the land destroyed. We are in battle. We are at war.

Some people feel they have been through many dark nights of the soul, which are supposed to be our initiations. Yet when they come out, there is no tribe to rejoin.
These ones know that something is amiss with the people, but they have no facility to integrate within, and no community to integrate into without.
The people have been divided and conquered.

The people have not just been divided from each other. They have been so thoroughly divided from their own selves that what I write here may not immediately strike them as the obvious, natural truth that it is.

We just had a conversation about this last night. How the focus on "Individualism" means all the well-intentioned individuals lose.
