From a similar tribe in NYC ... My late wife and I lived in Noe Valley and then in a van off Embarcadero in early '70s. Glad to know the spirit is still in SF. We may not be the ones we were waiting for, but we're the ones we've got. Hoka Hay!
What a sweet tribute and beautiful song to start out the day for me. I’m grateful for all those friendships, too. Including with you, dear Neshma. Barbara’s spirit is something to aspire to. A bless in for all who have come across her and will come across those touched by her.
I knew Barbara from Potrero Hill in the 90's. We were on the Board of a local park, and she had amazing insight about plants and especially butterflies and their natural association. Specifically, she was a voice for implementing action that made sense, to nurture and preserve the plants that supported the lepidoptera and microlepidoptera. The importance of this topic was never overlooked by Barbara. I learned so much from her! I wish I knew you were in contact with her, I would have been happy to reconnect. Sad to hear of her passing, she was a cool person and like nobody else ever to grace this planet.
I'd like to be more like Barbara. Sounds awesome
Indeed... a true inspiration to us all!
Lovely! Always a pleasure.
Thank you Peggy! <3

Thank you so much for sharing your memorable interactions with Barbara back in her Potrero Hill days! She touched and blessed so many lives! <3
ESG, didn’t know you knew Barbara! Funny tho’, you were both there that evening in the restaurant but at different ends of the table.
I didn't recognize her after not seeing her for like 25 years...she didn't recognize me either! Reminds me of a play called "Seascape" by Edward Alber
She sounds like a divine feminine from heaven
What a lovely way to describe her. 🙏🏽
Sounds like someone I would have loved to know and spend time with as well-
🩷🤗🙏
Aw, yes. For sure. ✨
Beautiful commemoration of someone I would have loved to have met and glad you were able to get to know.
For those of us fortunate to have avoided falling for the Big Con(vid) the gifts have indeed been abundant. Happy almost "wakey wakey" anniversary!
PIF, I couldn’t agree more. Yes, the big 5 is coming up! Sending you a DM now, btw.
