The founding fathers are a great example of people who agreed on very little, except for a few big, important things. I've heard that there are reports that debates got so heated in the convention that people were throwing shoes at each other lol

I was a little nervous when I read the byline but you came through with nuance and complexity, my sane friend. Great quotes from the comedian. Here in Santa Cruz, I saw the #metoo movement used to recall a black city council member for his homeless advocacy. I didn't actually agree with his policies, and told him why I wouldn't vote for him when he came at my door. But then the smear campaign against him was so ugly and contrived, I ended up being a key spokesperson defending him. The harassment complaint was a tearful public testimony, flanked by her daughters, by the woman tasked with closing down a homeless camp. At the site, he was questioning her about the promised hotel vouchers. She's now running for city council herself.

Thanks for doing this article. Oh and I was just watching Natalie Wynn on ContraPoints on #metoo and vigilante justice: https://youtu.be/smQsfNw_7V4?si=bt6_YQakHqaFw77e.

Glad you had a great birthday! And glad to hear that the Sane comedy show was packed with Sane Franciscans!!

Thanks for sharing your awesome videos. To the one from 5 years ago, I'd add, "Trust your gut if it says you'd rather reserve sex for a close, loving, mutually supportive and emotionally intimate relationship--that's OK too!"

The last two videos appeared to be the same campaign add for Mindy, was that intentional? Or did I miss something?

And finally, I'm totally with you on the value of interacting with people you don't agree with on everything. I've made many new friends that way, keep with my family members, and even hang on to old friends who sadly went the way of covidiocy.

Love it.

From the first, I was very clear that #VaxxMandateIsRape

I've never stepped back from that.

Great video!!

No one was forced? Hmm a dear friend lost his long time job in special education because he had the spine to refuse. I was turned down for numerous jobs and was forced to turn jobs down because I refuse to poison myself. There are many thousands more in exactly that same position. People were ostracized for our principles. Well.. I stood as thousands of others stood on our principles and many of us have suffered dearly as a result. I was told I couldn't visit my dying Karate teacher of 36 years because of this madness. I have no love left for the people who perpetrated this evil and absolutely no respect.

Thank you sane for your work. I very much appreciate and enjoy it.

Be well.

The irony of MeToo with respect to the casting couch, is that the accusers with the loudest bullhorns were the ones who'd made bank (by submitting to the predatory likes of schWeinstein), while those who had gigs/careers canceled for refusing to submit, were hardly heard from.

Tyler Fischer: ““I was just following orders like a good little [effin’] Democrat. My Body, My Choice! So that’s what I thought. It was my body, my choice, and they were like ‘No, not this time. It’s Your Body… My Choice.’ “ — Proof that TDS morphed into DS.

“A man could suddenly be accused, tried — via the public courtrooms of social media, a harsh, irrational and unforgiving space — and subsequently cancelled (lose his reputation, job, friends, etc) without due process.” — Trial by Media, Trial by Mob:

When mere allegations

are considered sufficient

grounds for establishing guilt;

when mere accusations

however ridiculous

are taken as ironclad proof

you'll find the court of mob justice

far too impatient to wait for the truth

in frenzied session

doing its best impression

of a crazed kangaroo on the loose.
