Am also a subscriber of Public & loved the video (great editing)!! But was terrified of most of the responses (thank goodness you & Mike let the red haired lady have the last say). Useful idiots is the phrase that immediately comes to mind. Reminds me of so many of the same types here in SF.
Thanks so much Doug! Yeah, I had to have the beautiful Sane woman be the happy ending. Like you, I always prefer to believe that common sense and sanity will prevail: in my dreams, in my work and hopefully, eventually, in all our lives. ✨
Oh, and regarding your comment about the similarity to SF peeps: As someone who saw all the footage MS and his cameraman shot, it was clear that so many of the interviewees were genuinely kind and warm-hearted people (as the Irish are known to be), and therefore, of course, they thought that this measure would ultimately be a good thing by lending more protection to minorities (even though most people felt hatred of 'others' had diminished over the decades). The social engineers love to capitalize on people's kindness and overwhelms them with fake danger, which is what has happened here too (notably in the last 3.5 years).
