Fantsstic yeh the mind reformatted. Wow such lists. Are you born in January hahah.. just joking.

Yeh there is a lot of robotic A.o vibes going on at th emoment and its the letting go that seems t have the hardest time in a world of constant change

I did a piece spoken word on the Violent circuit how all energy condenses when a thought or action is amde and it always closes with a spark

Hello San Franciscan, your Substack, and your speaking out for freedom, have meant a lot to me-- and I have no doubt that many others would say the same thing. I understand about "to do" overwhelm, and in the midst of this, letting one's own projects wait (... and wait.... and wait....) For me, certainly, beginning in the winter of 2020, the whole ever-morphing covid show has been mind-blowingly weird, the mega-distraction of mega distractions. Thanks for the links and reminders. May your decisions about what to do and what not to do, and when, be just right for you.

I have been feeling exactly the way you describe it all. Fantastic writing. 💥 So I responded to Tereza's post with a saying; If you take your time, you'll have more of it. We-i-i-r-d! ~The Universe, TUT, Mike Dooley. (it's free, daily)

Dearest Neshma, do take good care of yourself and only put out new posts when you feel the irrepressible urge to do so. I'm always happy to read them and totally understand if they're less frequent for whatever reason. You know best what you need, and I support you 100%. Thank you for being YOU!

I use to do lists at work but never at home. And sometimes you need to rest and reflect. Breathe

This is so beautiful, Sane Franciscan, and I'm so honored to be included in this post. I loved your 'one thing at a time, love.' It reminded me of Gabor Mate saying we should talk to our addictions and say, "what do you need, sweetheart?" And the soft reboot is a lovely concept. Thanks for the reminder to take my own advice ;-) And if you need a soft reboot getaway, I'm just down the coast and have the garaj mahal available.

My solution is to make a list of only 3 things a day to be achieved, in order of importance.

I was a doctor , so my day was always divided into chunks of time that I would devote to each patient separately. I learned to focus on what was in front of me and not anything else. It came naturally to me, I guess after years of study, but it helps deliver the feeling of satisfaction from accomplishment. If I do more than 3, then I’m beyond what I expected. It’s a learned behavior , I know, and requires a lowering of expectations. Write them in big letters on a bigger piece of paper. That helps.

The to do lists struggle is real. Some of the tasks that get deferred for over a year, usually get given up on. C’est la vie!

I’m glad you’re here and I’ve found you. Nice to stumble into creative dissidents. Doesn’t it seem like artists took the hardest hit in losing their communities because we really thought our networks were elevated beyond that of other groups? That dealing directly with the human element in art forged stronger bonds? Anyway, lovey to be in your stack. Beautiful music. Will check out more backlogs for other songs, too.
