Yes indeed, need to channel all the creative, caring, critically thinking energy that can be found here and there. Yesterday I went on a city walk in San Francisco with my East Bay hiking club--starting at California and Divisadero through a potpourri of neighborhoods and ending up in Bernal Heights. And we oldsters all went down the Esmeralda slide--like a bunch of senior citizens on a school field trip ;-)
Both videos are awesome--thank you!! In the second one, I especially like all the scenes shot at Rick's Farm. How I miss it! But at least the plan to put a big tall warehouse there has been scrapped and the property will be acquired by the next-door neighbor organization that runs a small organic farm on site as well as numerous community gardens and free farm stands in poor neighborhoods of Richmond. Oh, and I saw Rick a couple weeks ago at Luminary Village at Lake Temescal in Oakland and he was doing very well and in great spirits! <3 <3 <3
Rick’s Farm was indeed such a great space for us all. I saw Rick too… gosh actually maybe it was Halloween, but yeah he is doing so much better. He had us all worried there for a bit. Hearts back to you, Marilyn 💕
